A doctor who knows her patients by name
Dr. Fernandez earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pacific University in Oregon before going on to the highly regarded New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston.
She began her career practicing at Costco in Kailua-Kona, then moved to Hilo, where she spent several years working independently at Ludwig Ophthalmology. On September 1, 2021, she opened the doors to her very own practice, and has remained dedicated to serving the eye care needs of her community ever since.
Outside the office, Dr. Fernandez enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing pickleball. She's also an avid orchid lover.
